THURSDAY 9.2.10 – The FitCamp Difference

I was sitting at my desk yesterday afternoon at 3:45pm when I heard that familiar FitCamp door chime.  Seconds later the hot red tank-top and blonde hair of Cathy Natale pops into my peripheral vision.  I give my traditional FitCamp hello and Cathy smiles.  After a quick double-take I notice something amazingly different with Cathy.  She is not that timid and shy person I remember sitting across from me on her 1st day many months back.  Her body has changed dramatically.  She is stronger, leaner and happier than ever.  In fact, her body launguage and attitude towards life radiated a confidence that I had never seen in her before.  At that moment I realized what a difference FitCamp has made in her life.  Cathy told me she had lost weight before but this time was different.  This time her body has transformed and she is now building the muscle, bone strength and fitness that will last her for decades.  At 52 years of age Cathy is taking control of her helath and making a difference for herself and her family.

Cathy started FitCamp 5 months ago on April 1st, 2010. 

Here’s what Cathy’s achieved in just 5 months….

Starting weight:  228 lbs.   –  5 Months Later 170.8   –   Cathy’s lost almost 58 lbs!

Starting pant size:  18   –   5 months later size 8   –   She decreased 8 sizes!

Starting cholestrol:  210   –   5 months later 139   –   Her cholestrol is down 51 points!

After talking with Cathy about how great she has done she told me something that was more important than any weight loss number or statistic could ever be.  When visiting her doctor for a recent physical he had told Cathy to tell her husband to start saving his pennies because she is going to be around for a long time.  Congrats on your amazing success Cathy and thank you for sharing your story with all of us at FitCamp!
