Middle School Field Hockey Coach (grades 7–8)
Since she was young, Stacey had always been involved in sports. Her parents got her into soccer, little league, and dance as an elementary schooler. Shortly after, she began figure skating and ended up falling in love at age 7. She continued skating both for fun and competitively until the age of 17. Throughout high school, Stacey played field hockey, basketball, and ran indoor and outdoor track as a sprinter and jumper.
Once going to college, she did not continue with structured sports but was a regular “gym-goer.” After completing college, she was bored just going to a regular Globo-gym. Lucky for her, a friend found the “Ultimate Fitcamp” in Leominster. Stacey fell in love! The classes and community were amazing. Not long after joining, the Ultimate Fitcamp became a CrossFit Affiliate and what is now known as CrossFit EXP.
In 2013, Stacey decided she wanted to be more involved at EXP and became an EXP Kids coach as well as a part-time CrossFit coach!
“I love to see members finish their first CrossFit workout or PR a new lift. I think sometimes I am more excited than the athlete! For me, CrossFit is a competition against myself. I am always looking to improve for myself and to see my WODs get faster and my lifts get heavier.”
Stacey has a love for CrossFit because more important than anything, she has fun doing it! It is a part of her daily routine, it keeps her healthy, and the members have become her extended family! Outside of the gym, Stacey is a mom to three kiddos: Brynn, Alanna & Robert and wife to Harlan.
