Get to know Coach Kacey!

Kacey is an elementary school teacher, with experience in 1st-4th grade and currently teaching first grade in Leominster.

She has grown up in a very active family and always loved sports and fitness throughout her life, beginning at age 3 with youth soccer. Kacey participated in soccer, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, dance, figure skating, and gymnastics. In high school, Kacey was a leading scorer for both field hockey and lacrosse, playing Varsity all 4 years.

While obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Springfield College, Kacey began working with a personal trainer and developed a love for the gym. At this time, Kacey also began running through the inspiration of her mom who qualified and ran the Boston Marathon twice.

Since 2013, Kacey has run countless 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, and 4 marathons (Boston being one of them). Kacey worked out in many different boot camp-style classes before finally finding a home at EXP and finding her love of Crossfit. She has competed in many local competitions and had a lot of fun with friends and family from the EXP community.

After starting a fit crew at her school, Kacey found a new passion in coaching fitness classes for kids, which led her to EXP Kids. She is beyond excited to get this program re-booted and have a blast with the kids!
