This past fall I participated in a beta group of CrossFit owners and managers in The Whole Life Challenge. Our goal was to fine tune incorporating a wellness challenge that encompasses all aspects of “HEALTH” into our communities. What I loved about this challenge, was not just the weight loss (although I lost 12 pounds and got back to my “pre-baby weight”, ) It was that it created better habits that had slipped away from me being a mom of 2, gym manager and business owner.
It brought me back to the basics of what HEALTHY truly encompasses….more water (between my many coffees), better sleeping habits, daily mobility…mindfulness and reflection on each day….those are the things that REALLY matter when we look at the big picture .
The Whole Life Challenge does an amazing job pulling this all together in their 6 week challenge which is why we are choosing to collaborate with them rather than trying to re-invent the wheel! They have an amazing team of professionals in all areas of health that pull together to create a wonderful program, website and app that tracks everything and keeps the team connected so even if you aren’t physically a part of our gym, anyone can join. Friends and family, near of far can hop in with us!

- Eat nutritious, healthy food
- Be active 10 minutes a day
- Stretch 10 minutes a day
- Sleep for a duration you select, one that leaves you feeling rested
- Drink ounces of water equal to your body weight (in pounds) ÷ 3
- Learn weekly practices to help you feel happier and more connected
- At the end of each day, write briefly about how the day went
