This past fall I participated in a beta group of CrossFit owners and managers in The Whole Life Challenge. Our goal was to fine tune incorporating a wellness challenge that encompasses all aspects of “HEALTH” into our communities. What I loved about this challenge, was not just the weight loss (although I lost 12 pounds and got back to my “pre-baby weight”, ) It was that it created better habits that had slipped away from me being a mom of 2, gym manager and business owner. It brought me back to the basics of what HEALTHY truly encompasses….more water (between my many coffees), better sleeping habits, daily mobility…mindfulness and reflection on each day….those are the things that REALLY matter when we look at the big picture .
