WOD For FA!  WHEN: TODAY! 9:15am! WHERE: CrossFit EXP, Leominster WHAT: Sat morning WOD to fundraise for FA WHO: All are welcome to join! Nov 2, in Orlando, FL, friends of the Mullaney family will be cycling in an event called Ride Ataxia. Ride Ataxia was coordinated by FARA (Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance) to help raise funds to assist in the research in finding a cure for Friedreich's Ataxia. FA is a rare, degenerative neuro-muscular disease. As many of you know, 2 of Brenda's 4 children, Kaela & Joey Mullaney have been battling Friedreich's Ataxia for most of their lives. There is currently no treatment for FA but we believe the treatment era for FA is now and we need your help! We are hoping to do everything we can to assist FARA in funding research to find a cure. New Training Phase Starting Monday! We are very excited to introduce our new 6 week training phase beginning next Monday!  We will be maintaining our current class structure and adding in some fun new styles of Strength and Metcons!  The beginning of next week will be testing so do your best to make it to all classes.  We highly encourage that if you are not already tracking your workouts, to start now!  Tracking your workouts is the only tangible way to see measurable progress in your training, so grab an EXP journal, notebook or find a cool app for your phone and write down your WODs each day! Farewell Kidney Fundraiser for Kaitlin O'Connell, this Thursday Oct 16th, 6:00pm @ The Luxury Box! Come out to The Luxury Box and bid farewell to Kaitlin O'Connell's kidney as she gives the gift of life to a family in need!  While teaching kindergarten, Kaitlin became familiar with a family who's father was in need of a kidney transplant. A husband with three young kids, fighting for his life and his family. While most people would find this heartbreaking, Kaitlin did more. She volunteered herself to go before doctors and through testing and was finally able to tell this family she would be their match! While we all applaud Kaitlin's selflessness, we also want to be there to support her through the process. She'll be undergoing surgery on October 21st and out for recovery for several weeks following.
