WOD: [ Murph ] For time: 1 mile Run 100 Pull-ups 200 Push-ups 300 Squats 1 mile Run Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is. Memorial Day Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM ONLY.  Enjoy the long weekend!   The Bemis 5K is only one week from today! The race will start at Bemis and wind through the residential roads of Shirley, MA. Walkers go off at 8:30am, Runners at 9:00am. This year’s race will benefit the Ayer Shirley Regional High School Cross-Training Program. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of speed ladders, medicine balls, plyometric boxes, parachutes, cardio watches, and jump ropes for the high school. The cross-training program will be used to makes athletes faster and stronger, as well as aid in weight loss and overall general health and fitness.
